The days of summer
While it hasn’t stopped raining in a few weeks, summer has technically arrived in Idaho (well, there’s no snow on the ground). Here are a few shots of some of my favorite summer scenes in and around our home.
Owen gets to venture outside and explore the big bad world all on his own (well, our front and back yards anyway).
Our two crabapple trees enjoy a riotous few weeks of glorious pink.
The wildlife is my favourite thing about summer here (and winter, fall and spring). This year, finally, a brave pair of swallows have decided to move into our bluebird house. I say brave, as Stanley is vastly intrigued by their presence - but I'm keeping a close eye on him). It's been amazing to watch them build their nest and now settle down to rear their young.
